A Safe Space for Those Living with Chronic Illness
to Nurture Your Mindset,
Embrace Your Path, & Flow Forward with Ease
The endless doctor visits. The uncertainty.
The weeks (or months) waiting for that appointment with a specialist.
The big decisions about medications or possible surgeries.
The mornings when getting out of bed feels impossible.
The pain that shadows every movement.
The smile you force while your body screams for rest.
The late nights wondering, Will this ever get better?
I see YOU because I have been YOU!!
For years, I lived with my mind wrapped around fear, pain, and frustration.
I was stuck in a cycle that felt impossible to break.
I remember lying awake at night, my mind racing with “what ifs.”
What if the pain never goes away?
What if my body keeps breaking down?
What if I can’t keep up with my family, my work, my life?
My body was already fighting its own battles but my thoughts were making the fight harder.
I was exhausted from the appointments, the waiting, the tests, the surgeries… and even more exhausted from the mental toll of it all.
I know what it’s like to fear your own body, to wonder if you’ll ever feel safe in it again.
To feel like your symptoms are stealing your joy.
To question if you’ll ever get “you” back.
It wasn’t until I discovered the power of shifting my mindset, even just one thought at a time, that things began to change.
I learned that while I couldn’t control everything happening in my body, I could choose where I placed my attention.
And when I began to focus on what I had instead of what I was missing,
when I learned how to gently guide my mind toward gratitude, peace, and presence,
I finally started to breathe again.
This is more than a course or a workshop, it’s a supportive space where we shift the focus.
Where we learn to gently redirect our thoughts, reclaim our energy, and stop letting fear lead the way.
It’s about moving from fear-based living to flow-based healing.
While we can’t always control our diagnosis, the unknown,
or what’s happening inside our bodies,
we can control the story we tell ourselves every single day.
That’s what I’m here to teach and that’s why I created The Mindset Flow.
Inside, I’m going to guide you, especially if you’re living with chronic illness
in using the one tool you can control: your MINDSET!
I’ll show you how to break the fear loop and anchor into presence.
To move from “what if” to “what is.”
To focus on what’s working. To find gratitude
because there is always something to be grateful for.
This isn’t just theory. I’ve lived it.
I know what it’s like to feel hopeless and
I know what it’s like to come out on the other side.
Your healing begins with a choice. You'll learn how to shift your focus from what's missing to what's already here. How gratitude isn't just a nice idea, but a powerful energy that transforms the way you feel.
✨ “When you decide to shift your focus from what’s missing to what’s here, from fear to presence, you change your energy. And when you change your energy, you change your life.” ✨
Life doesn't stop bringing challenges. Here you'll discover how to navigate those moments without drowning in them and how to move with life's current instead of against it.
🌊 “Even on the hardest days, you can choose to move with the current instead of against it, turning life’s toughest moments into stepping stones toward joy.” 🌊
Instead of fighting your illness, you'll learn how to soften into it, cultivating self-compassion, visualizing your healthiest self, and stepping into unshakable belief in your ability to thrive.
🌿 “The moment you choose belief over fear, you step into a power that illness cannot take away.”
You don't have to know the entire path. You just need one next step. Here, you'll learn how to find that step, shift your energy quickly, and keep building momentum toward a life that feels lighter.

I'm so happy you are here! I’ve spent my entire adult life teaching, leading, and encouraging others to see what’s possible, even when life feels hard.
I’ve been an educator for over 20 years. Throughout this time, I’ve not only taught my students, but I’ve also trained and mentored my colleagues, leading in-house professional development sessions and sharing strategies that inspire growth and confidence.
Outside the classroom, I built and led a team of over 100 women in my previous business. I’ve hosted trainings, run workshops, planned retreats, dinners, and created spaces where women could dream bigger, believe in themselves, and take action.
Today, I am co-host of the podcast I’ve Got Guts, where my best friend and I share real, unfiltered conversations about life with chronic illness because breaking the stigma starts with telling our stories. And I have plenty of my own story to share. I live with multiple chronic autoimmune diseases, including Achalasia, Hashimoto’s, Celiac Disease, Pericarditis, and high levels of inflammation. I know what it’s like to navigate the appointments, the uncertainty, the exhaustion, and the constant “what ifs.”
But I also know what it’s like to shift from fear to flow and how to teach others how to do the same.
I’m also a wife to my incredibly supportive husband, Sean, and a proud mom to my 10-year-old son, Connor, who also lives with celiac disease. Our family understands firsthand what it means to adapt, advocate, and still find joy in the middle of it all.
Whether in the classroom, on a podcast mic, or inside The Mindset Flow, my mission is the same:
To help people find their voice, reclaim their energy, and believe in the life they’re capable of creating even with chronic illness.
"Beyond Grateful"
"Lauren has a rare gift for helping people see their own strength. Her leadership, empathy and genuine caring inspired me to start my own personal development journey. Because of our authentic conversations, book recommendations and mentorship, I’ve become a more present mom, a confident entrepreneur of my own online tutoring business, and someone who no longer lets negative self-talk hold me back. I learned some very powerful mindset strategies that I use regularly as I face challenges. Lauren can authentically connect and share because she has navigated her own personal development journey. She leads with grace, even through her own challenges, and inspires others to grow alongside her. Working with Lauren has been life-changing, and I’m so grateful for the impact she’s had on my journey.
-Becky T.
"Constant love & Support"
Lauren was my friend first, then became my mentor years later. She encouraged me to do things I never would’ve attempted and truly believed in me more than I believed in myself. Her constant motivation, love and support changed my life in ways I never thought possible. She continues to be someone I look up to and the first person who I reach out to when I need to be reminded that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.- Kelly L.
"Grounding Guidance"
Because of Lauren’s kind and grounding guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am in my health journey today. She taught me to find the good in every day (even the hard ones) and that simple practice changed everything. Journaling small wins and moments of light helped me through some of the darkest times in my life. Her support helped me build resilience and shift my mindset when I needed it most. - Stef C.
"Honored & Grateful"
I have known Lauren for ten years. During these ten years, I have had the honor of knowing Lauren in so many different capacities. I have been so honored to work alongside Lauren in her role as a Teacher, as a colleague, and as a friend. Lauren has this amazing quality of believing in others- whether it be the students and families that she teaches, or her colleagues and friends. Lauren has a gift of listening and giving just the right advice. Lauren never judges and always gets to know someone for who they are. Lauren empowers others to build off of their strengths and to believe in the power of making anything happen that you set your mind to. Lauren understands challenges and the need to have to persevere even in the hardest moments. Lauren has brought so much to my life. If I need a confidant, and someone who I know will give me their honest guidance, wisdom and a compassionate ear- that is Lauren. Every time that I turn to Lauren, I always regain my balance and focus. I always feel empowered to carry on and take the necessary steps to regain my momentum.
I am so blessed to have Lauren in my life.

"Shifted my mindset when I needed it most"

"My life shifted in the best way"
It was a Saturday night sitting in Lauren’s kitchen & a lot of red wine was involved. A scene we’d lived 1000 times over, when a disappointing text came from a guy after another first date that was going nowhere. Lauren had seen me going through this painful cycle for three years and always offered advice, a couch to sleep on, and plenty more red wine. But it was this particular Saturday where we decided it was time to make a change. I wasn’t centered with what I truly wanted, I was coming at dating with a mostly negative mindset after getting “let down” so often, and I wasn’t attracting people who were good for me. Lauren gave me actionable tools to become more positive and homework (the amazing teacher in her) that was inspiring and doable. I learned to meditate and really focus on feeling all of the things my heart wanted badly vs. just listing them and forgetting about them. I started a note in my phone called “good things are always happening to me” and I added to it any time I felt a win, big or small. I started believing more and more each day that the universe was truly always looking out for me and will reward you with what you ask for when you are aligned to receive it ❤️ The journey might have started with feeling lost and defeated in the world of dating, but the exercises and tools we worked together on go so far beyond that. Switching your mindset and truly believing you deserve all the good things you want is not always easy, and Lauren’s guidance made it possible ✨✨✨ I might be biased knowing Lauren for 20 years but she is the best at what she does and I cannot recommend her enough if you’re willing to be coachable and curious. 10 minutes into engaging with her, I promise you’ll understand! -Claire O.
Because you’re only one decision away from beginning your shift.
